Tootsie is the new comedy musical.

Tootsie tells the story of a talented but difficult actor who struggles to find work until an audacious, desperate stunt lands him the role of a lifetime.

Tootsie features an original score by Tony Award-winner David Yazbek (The Band’s Visit, The Full Monty, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), a book by Robert Horn (13; Dame Edna, Back with a Vengeance), choreography by Tony Award nominee Denis Jones (Holiday Inn, Honeymoon in Vegas), and musical direction by Andrea Grody (The Band’s Visit). Tootsie is directed by eight-time Tony Award nominee and Olivier Award winner Scott Ellis (She Loves Me, On the Twentieth Century).

TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD

Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-Winning American classic To Kill a Mockingbird comes to Broadway in a new adaptation by Aaron Sorkin, Directed by Bartlett Sher.
Inspired by Lee’s own childhood in Alabama, To Kill a Mockingbird features one of literature’s towering symbols of integrity and righteousness in the character of Atticus Finch, based on Lee’s own father. The character of Scout, based on herself, has come to define youthful innocence – and its inevitable loss – for generation after generation of readers around the world.
Published in 1960, Harper Lee’s debut novel To Kill a Mockingbird was an immediate and astonishing success. It won the Pulitzer Prize and quickly became a global phenomenon, with more than 50 million copies in print to date. Considered one of the great classics of modern American literature, the novel has never been out of print since its original publication.

COME FROM AWAY
​​Come From Away is based on the true story of when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned in to an international sleep-over when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from across the globe, were diverted to Gander’s air strip on September 11, 2001. [Note:  this is NOT a "9/11" musical, rather a moving story about humanity.  BYO kleenex :-) ]  Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family. 
THE GREAT COMET OF 1812
​Drawing inspiration from a 70-page portion of Leo Tolstoy’s Russian masterpiece War and Peace, Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 follows Natasha, a young girl who forms a relationship with the attractive rebel Anatole while her betrothed Andrey is off fighting. Andrey's best friend Pierre remains on high alert as the new romance blossoms.

ALADDIN - is a gorgeously produced show that’s a delight from start to finish. The beloved characters from Disney’s 1992 animated hit are given fresh life on the New Amsterdam Theatre stage, including the “Friend Like Me” Genie, who leads two show-stopping musical numbers. The costumes and set design are among the most beautiful on Broadway, and Aladdin and Jasmine’s magic carpet ride to “A Whole New World” inspires gasps of delight. In the process Monty keeps a mistress, Sibella Hallward, and courts the comely young Phoebe D’Ysquith.
ON THE 20th CENTURY - On the Twentieth Century follows a down-and-out Broadway producer named Oscar Jaffe, who struggles to convince his former muse and lover, Lily Garland, now a successful film actress, to return to Broadway in a (non-existent) epic drama about Mary Magdalene. While dealing with Lily Garland's jealous new lover and a religious fanatic aboard a luxury train, Oscar hopes he can lure her back to the stage and salvage his sinking career.

acrobatic troupe of performers, led by the charismatic Leading Player. The
ensemble cast tells the story of Pippin, a young prince who longs to find
passion and adventure in his life. To prove his loyalty to his distracted
father, King Charles, Pippin goes to war. But when the Leading Player convinces
the prince to fight tyranny, Pippin kills Charles and takes over the throne.
Realizing his mistake, Pippin begs the Leading Player to bring his father back
to life, and she obliges. The prince falls in love with Catherine, a widow with
a young son, and (much to the Leading Player’s chagrin), Pippin struggles to
decide whether he should settle down and pursue a peaceful life or continue to
make magic with the dazzling troupe of performers.

Set in New York City at the turn of the century, the musical is the tale of newsie Jack Kelly, who dreams of a better life far from the hardship of the streets. But when Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsies' expense, Jack finds a cause to fight for and rallies his army of newsies to strike.

Memphis is set in the places where rock and roll was born in the 1950s: the seedy nightclubs, radio stations and recording studios of the musically-rich Tennessee city. With an original score, it tells the fictional story of DJ Huey Calhoun, a good ole’ local boy with a passion for R&B music and Felicia Farrell, an up-and-coming black singer that he meets one fateful night on Beale Street. Despite the objections of their loved ones (Huey’s close-minded mama and Felicia’s cautious brother, a club owner), they embark on a dangerous affair. As their careers rise, the relationship is challenged by personal ambition and the pressures of an outside world unable to accept their love.
